hi, it's me.valedictorian, btw ✿
Meet the maker behind it

Hi, I'm Lynzee Herrington, and I grew up a market kid.

I grew up spending weekends at markets — early mornings, tents going up, tables being filled, and talented people turning what they made with their own hands into businesses.

I saw creativity everywhere.

I also saw how hard makers worked just to be noticed.

A beautiful product wasn't always enough. You still had to get people to stop, understand what made it special, remember you, and hopefully come back.

My mother's story made that world personal for me, and eventually, I became part of it too.

For the last 16 years, I've been a maker.

I've built businesses from back-home studios, packed orders, worked markets, opened storefronts, lost storefronts, rebuilt, changed directions, and kept going.

Then, a few years ago, I went back to school.

And apparently, once I decided to do that, I decided to be a complete overachiever about it.

I studied digital marketing, business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and product development — and somehow ended up valedictorian along the way. Still not entirely sure who approved that.

But school changed the way I looked at everything I had experienced as a maker.

Suddenly, the problems I had lived for years had names.

Brand positioning. Customer discovery. Visibility. Marketing strategy. Business models. Storytelling.

And almost every project I worked on brought me right back to makers.

The people behind the tables.

The people making incredible things while also trying to be the photographer, marketer, salesperson, bookkeeper, customer service department, and CEO.

That's when this stopped feeling like just an idea.

It became the thing I wanted to build.

Crafts & Clicks sits at the intersection of everything I've lived and everything I've learned — markets, making, business, storytelling, marketing, failure, rebuilding, and a lot of figuring-it-out-as-I-go.

I'm building it because I know how much talent is sitting behind those market tables.

And I want more people to see it.

Your craft deserves to be seen. So do you.

The bigger vision

What I'm building with Crafts & Clicks

I do not want Crafts & Clicks to become another place that tells makers to post more, hustle harder, or somehow squeeze twelve more jobs into an already packed day.

I want it to grow into a real support system for makers.

  • I envision…

practical resources and toolkits that help you grow without making you feel talked down to or overwhelmed.

  • I envision…

retreats where makers can step away from the daily grind, connect with people who understand them, learn, breathe, and remember why they started.

  • I envision…

scholarships that help makers access education, equipment, events, technology, and opportunities that might otherwise feel out of reach.

  • I envision…

stories, conversations, and a podcast that give makers the space to talk honestly about what they have built, what it has taken, and what people rarely see behind the finished product.

  • I envision…

partnerships, community, visibility, and more ways to help makers turn their creativity into something sustainable, without losing the part of themselves that made them want to create in the first place.

Some of that is still ahead of us. I am not going to pretend everything is already built and wrapped in a cute little bow.

Right now, I'm listening.

The Maker Roll Call is the first step. It is how I learn who you are, what you are carrying, and what would actually help, not what someone sitting outside the maker world assumes you need.

I want to build Crafts & Clicks with makers, not just for them.
